Bean Point

Bean Point is the northernmost beach on the island and offers a quiet escape for couples with fantastic views for both sunrise and sunset. This beach is a favorite for “shelling,” a.k.a. Looking for sea shells, especially at low tide, and a perfect way to pick up something to remember your day. Parking near this beach is limited, and it may be best to arrive early. But trust us on this one, and it is worth the walk. 

Coquina Beach

Coquina Beach is lauded as one of the best beaches on the gulf and for a good reason. This beach is easily accessible with plenty of available parking and nearby shopping and dining. (The island trolly system also has a stop here! )The crystal clear waters are home to local wildlife, including dolphins. Excellent amenities, including a cafe, quality restrooms, and more, ensure you have access to everything you need for your date. Coquina Beach is perfect for your seaside picnic, after which you could visit the locally celebrated Coquina Beach Market.

Mademoiselle Paris

Mademoiselle Paris consistently has some of the best special menus that the island has to offer. This year, the head chef has put together a four-course meal that will have you falling in love all over again, all to a background of beautiful live music to set the mood.  

Dinner starts with an Amuse Bouche followed by a first course of avocado and shrimp tartare with ginger dressing. The second course is a decadent lobster bisque served with garlic butter croutons. Guests can choose a main course of Shrimp Alfredo penne pasta in a creamy parmesan sauce or a crockpot port tenderloin in a mushroom onion gravy. Dessert is a caramel flan served with strawberries. 

Dinner is $68/diner, and reservations are required.

The Beach Bistro

The Beach Bistro serves a love letter to fine dining with its opulent five-course surf-side tasting experience, which will surely be the highlight of your Valentine’s Day. Each course is a culinary journey, with options to fit every dietary lifestyle, and is sure to have you falling in love all over again. (May we suggest the FOOD HEAVEN?
