Bordeaux Wine Tasting with Mademoiselle Paris

One of our favorite bistros and fine dining spots on AMI, Mademoiselle Paris, is hosting a wine tasting on January 26th at 6 pm. Participants will receive one glass of aperitif & an appetizer, followed by a four-course meal, each course paired with its own wine. Live music will be there to set the mood for the perfect Parisian atmosphere. Reservations required.

Cortez Commercial Fishing Festival (Feb 17 & 18th)

This festival is held on 46th Ave at the end of 123rd Street, celebrates the fishing heritage of the island. Two days of fresh seafood, live music, boat rides, and more! Touch tanks and other education opportunities are available throughout the festival, focusing on local marine wildlife. Not only will you have the best and freshest seafood while supporting local businesses, but you can also feel good knowing that proceeds from the Cortez Commercial Fishing Festival support the Florida Institute for Saltwater Heritage, a non-profit dedicated to preserving Cortez Fishing Village. 

Fine Arts Festival of Manatee County (Feb 22 & 23)

The Fine Arts Festival of Manatee County takes place in Downtown Bradenton at Riverwalk Park. The event features a juried art show, vendors, crafts, seating, music, and more! Displays feature art from national award-winning artists from all over the country. This is the perfect place to find gifts for your whole family or a new piece of art to spruce up your space. Prizes for curated pieces are $1,500 for 1st place, $850 for 2nd place, $650 for 3rd place.

Anna Maria Heritage Day

The Anna Maria Island Historical Society puts on this event annually, and features live entertainment, museum tours, live historical displays, vendors, and more. Celebrate the captivating history of Anna Maria Island at this favorite festival. Proceeds from the festival go directly back into the community and help support the Anna Maria Island Historical Society. 

Every Month

Art District Art Walk

On the second Friday of every month, immerse yourself in local art in the Holmes Beach Art District. Enjoy featured artists, delightful galleries, and unique vendors. Enjoy music and light snacks from other local businesses as you take everything in. 

Anna Maria Island Privateers’ Thieves Market

This monthly pirate-themed bazaar is put on by the Anna Maria Island Privateers, a local non-profit organization with members that raise money for youth betterment and scholarship opportunities in Manatee County. Take part and visit the pop-up shop vendors and pirate activities for kids of all ages!

Bonus: Baseball Spring Training Feb & Mar

Baseball season comes early on Anna Maria Island. Spring training is a longstanding tradition on Anna Maria Island, going back as early as the 1940s. Enjoy summertime feelings as you take in a (pre-season) game and watch some of your favorite MLB teams get in shape for the season. 

Tickets go on sale 1/19/24 and can be purchased for single games or packaged events .
