Why Visit Anna Maria Island in the Fall

There simply is not a bad time to visit Anna Maria Island. Our beautiful island has something for everyone, regardless of the time of year. Fall, however, does have some great reasons to make it your choice.

Weather

When the leaves start to change color in the north, we stay green. No raking a yard full of leaves here. The temperature starts to noticeably dip in more northern states, but not on our island.  Our warm weather lasts through the fall months while our humidity and rainfall start to wane a little, making it a perfect time for planning outdoor activities like a beach vacation.

Bayfest 2022

2022 will mark the 21^st year for the annual Bayfest. This day long event happens on Saturday, October 15 this year. Events start at 10:00 am and run until 9:00pm. This family friendly event takes place on Pine Avenue in the city of Anna Maria. You will experience many local businesses and creators, as well as delicious food from our local restaurants. Kids will be able to enjoy numerous activities during the all-day festival.

Adults may enjoy the Classic Car Show that runs from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. There are typically 100 cars or more at the show. Classics, antiques, muscle cars and even some custom built street rods are on display. The owners will be available to answer your questions or just tell you stories about their car. Music acts will play a variety of music all day long.

Getting there is easy. You could ride the bikes that are included in your luxury rental home. The free Island Trolley is also available to transport you from your home to Pine Avenue. Visit the Chamber of Commerce website for more information.

Coquina Beach Market

We love the Coquina Beach Market. The market closes down during summer months and re-opens in the fall, usually in November. During the summer, the Market found out it may have to change locations. We’re confident it will find a new local home and be as awesome as ever. Follow our Instagram account and watch for updated information.

Lower Rates
