After a well-rested night of sleep on a luxurious bed, you’ll be ready to take a trip to the Island Plaza to stretch away any worries and meditate your way to inner peace with Salty Buddha Paddle & Yoga Co. in any of their tailored yoga sessions. With oceanfront yoga in the sand, SUP paddleboard yoga on the ocean, and studio room sessions at all levels, there will surely be a session that is right for you. 

Then after, we suggest checking out the other offerings the Island Plaza has to offer, such as beautiful and thought-provoking art at Elif’s Art Studio, taking a cruise with Shore Thing Tiki Cruises, or grabbing one of the many juices –we suggest the Diesel– or a creape-on-a-stick at Vroom Vroom Burgers.  

After your time at Island Plaza, you deserve a hard-earned cup of coffee from one of the best coffee shops on the island. After all, there is no better way to start the day than with a good ol’ cup of joe or a perfectly crafted latte. And no one will blame you, if you take another stop for an extra goodie for now or later from one of the many bakeries on AMI. We haven’t been able to stop dreaming about Hometown Dessert’s pumpkin roll and coconut key lime cake for weeks now, and trust us, you won’t be able to, either. 

Delight in an Afternoon in Paradise

Instead, you may want to start the rest of your day with Brunch with friends or family. With offerings from Anna Maria Island Beach Cafe, the North Shore Cafe, and more, your brunch options are nearly limitless. Or do you want to do a little shopping with your dining? In that case, Ginny’s & Jane E’s is a perfect stop. This cafe/boutique has everything you could want for a delicious brunch and a promising start to a day of shopping. Speaking of shopping, is there really a better way to spend an afternoon? And there is certainly no better place for a day of boutique-ing and shopping than Bridge Street. This historical street is home to a handful of locally owned shops sure to have just what you are looking for. Shops on Bridge Street include local favorites like Back Alley Treasures, The Bridge Street Jewelers, and the Bridge Street Bazaar.
