Publix is one of the largest grocery chains in the Southeast and has a store on the island. This full-service location has everything you would expect in a grocery store, including a bakery, meat, seafood and deli departments, and a floral section. If you are looking for a smaller store with some local flavor, the Anna Maria General Store could be just what you are looking for. They sell basic needs such as produce, chips, meats and snacks. A variety of craft beers and wines are also available. The store was originally founded in the 1950s and moved to its current location in 2015. They also stock those often-forgotten items such as toothpaste, deodorant and that all-important sunscreen. If you’re hungry while shopping, the store also serves breakfast and both hot and cold sandwiches. The store is located at 503 Pine Avenue, Anna Maria Island, 34216.

Island Fresh Market

The big draw for Island Fresh Market is the locally sourced fresh seafood. Whether you are getting it to take home or eating it on-site in their café, the seafood is fresh and ready for you to enjoy. The market stocks basics like milk, eggs, bread and pasta, as well as a variety of snack foods. You can get beer and wine there, as well as homemade Key Lime Pie. The Fresh Market

Another option, just off the island, is The Fresh Market. The store offers fresh produce, baked goods, custom-cut meat and conveniently prepared meals. The location also has fresh-cut flowers. From spicy guacamole made in the store to national brands, Fresh Market can cover all your needs. The store is located at 6701 Manatee Ave W, Bradenton, FL. The location offers curbside pick-up to get you back to your beach house as quickly as possible.

Stock Your Refrigerator
