The Heritage Day Festival is a beloved event among locals, featuring museum tours, vendors, baked goods, games, and more. A local charity group, the Privateers, even “incarcerates” the mayors in the City Jail, raising funds through ransom donations for the AMI Heritage Museum. Heritage Day celebrates the rich history of Anna Maria Island and its three unique cities and is a must see for visitors and locals alike.

The Moody Blue’s John Lodge Performs LIVE at The Center! Monday, March 24th, tickets start at $75. Experience legendary bassist and vocalist John Lodge as he performs classic hits and the “Days of Future Passed” album in full symphonic splendor.

Looking to add a bit of color to your day? The Manatee River Garden Club’s Flower Show, ” Color Me Florida”, is the perfect event to brighten any day. This free-to-the-public art show features a fun look at Florida’s colorful icons creatively expressed in floral designs and horticulture exhibits.

Coquina Beach Spring Art & Craft Show

The Salvation Army’s 5th Annual “Kids to Camp” Golf Tournament

The Salvation Army’s 5th Annual “Kids to Camp” Golf Tournament will raise important funds for our Kid’s Summer Day Camp program which provides safe, fun, and enriching childcare for low-income families in Manatee County. The tournament, which is held at the prestigious Sara Bay Country Club, will include golf, prizes, lunch, and a fun surprise.

AMI Hogfish Swim 

May 17th @ 6:30 am- 12:00 pm

Join the Salty Sport Society for an exciting open water swim event on Saturday, May 11th, featuring both 1.2-mile and 2.4-mile races. These races are open to participants of all skill levels, making it a great opportunity whether you’re doing your first open water swim, trying a new distance, or preparing for fall open water events and triathlons.

Throughout the weekend, a “choose your own adventure” menu of activities is offered to ensure there is something for everyone. Attend for just the day or make it a fun race-cation, either way it is sure to be an exciting time!
