When you’re on vacation, the last thing you want to do is meal plan. Your relaxing vacation experience should extend to mealtime, too. A visit to Anna Maria Island is no exception. There is a plethora of amazing restaurants to try. From breakfast to brunch, lunch to dinner, and even just a quick snack, check these restaurants out on your vacation:
The Rod & Reel Pier Restaurant
The Rod & Reel Pier Restaurant is one of the best restaurants on Anna Maria Island. We think they have the best grouper sandwich around! There is indoor and outdoor seating available depending on your preference.
BONUS: If you bring a fishing pole, you can fish for a small fee off the dock.
The Waterfront Restaurant is perfect for when your group is ready for finer dining. Reservations are available online if you’d like to plan ahead. Also, because they cook their food fresh, they are able to make many diet and allergy accommodations.
Freckled Fin is a local Irish pub with a laidback vibe. Their late-night hours make it perfect for a snack or drink at the end of the night. Their event calendar is available online for daily events like trivia and live music.
Another one of the delicious restaurants on Anna Maria Island, My AMI is a local French restaurant. All of their food is prepared fresh to order. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss.
Beach Bistro is the spot you have to go to for formal dining. The bistro has won countless awards and has some of the highest Zagat scores in Florida.
If you like Beach Bistro, or are looking for a different vibe that’s just as good, this is your spot. Eat Here has casual dining and is from the same owner of Beach Bistro.
Sandbar Restaurant & Bar
The Sandbar Restaurant & Bar has waterfront dining and a bar. They also have a delicious Sunday brunch worth checking out. They don’t do reservations, so you may have to wait a bit. Luckily, the waterfront view makes the wait enjoyable.
